Hello Marilyn,
 
I too am having mysterious problems with the February archive file.  But in
truth I think that this is just because there is nothing in it.  I'll keep
an eye on that for March; we have a bit of traffic on the list now, and so I
expect to have a non-empty archive in March.
 
For a NIMAS file that is too large, I can suggest three things:
 
1. In the Preferences dialog, try not loading pictures.  Those are what
makes a file large.
2. Get the CAST utility for splitting a NIMAS document, from:
     <http://nimas.cast.org/about/resources/conversion_tool.html>
http://nimas.cast.org/about/resources/conversion_tool.html
    (This can split the NIMAS document, leaving each part in NIMAS format.
Each can then be loaded into NimPro.)
3. Wait for a bit; I am working to improve things in this regard.  We had a
bit of a shocker with one sample file we received, and have resolved to
rework some things in NimPro to handle larger files.

How do I review February's archives? When I downloaded the archive from the
website, it came in a zipped format but would not "unzip." What should I do?

 

Also, what can I do to open a NIMAS file that is too large? I have plenty of
memory, but it is still too large to open for my computer. I want to make
the sections smaller so I can work with one chapter at a time. Is there
anyone I can call for assistance?
