Dear Peter,

Many thanks for your message and explanation of how the embosser
settings work.

Could I relate a recent experience, in addition to that about which I
recently wrote concerning braille embossers.

Having both QuickTac and DBT 10.6 on my system, I experienced some
difficulties in embossing from DBT having previously used direct
embossing from QuickTac. DBT was brailling only on a single side rather
than double-sided, I contacted George Bell who helped trace the matter
to interpoint now not being checked in the document setup, however it
had been retained within Global.

Appreciating that QuickTac will probably emboss only using single-sided
braille, perhaps it would be worth adding some information to the
developing documentation as to how one needs to set up an embosser
configuration whether from QuickTac or DBT for embossing of graphics,
including things to check if problems or unexpected situations arise.
Perhaps setting up a setting only for graphics whether in QuickTac or
using from DBT might be the answer?

If use of graphics within documents is envisaged, some notes in the
documentation would be helpful as to ways of doing this, particularly if
there is a mixture of text and graphics.

Hope some of this will be of help.

By the way, I am using an Index Basic-D version 3 (ROM 10.24 or older).
