[QuickTacBeta] adding text

Hi,
I am trying to add text to my graphics, in fact the text is more, and
graphics serves as illustration.
Now, the stable version lets me enter the text just fine, and than
place it, but the beta won't.
It only allows a few letters, even if I select 1key entry method.
I am new to QuickTac, so probably missing something here.
